A Beautiful Reminder: Wisdom, Community, and the Power of Staying Engaged

Recently, while visiting the Palos Verdes Peninsula for a breakfast networking meeting, we experienced a truly meaningful moment that reminded us how powerful community connections can be.

During our visit, we had the pleasure of meeting Hope, a longtime resident with an inspiring story to share. What began as a casual conversation quickly turned into a reflection on service, leadership, and continued community impact.

Hope shared her experiences serving as a city council member and spoke about her passion for supporting the senior community throughout the years. She previously created and hosted a YouTube program called Senior Scene, where she provided valuable information and resources designed to educate and empower older adults.

While the show is no longer actively being produced, her videos remain available online and continue to serve as a lasting educational resource for seniors and families today.

This visit also came at an exciting time for the community, as Peninsula Community was recently recognized as a Top New Business in Palos Verdes for 2025, a wonderful reflection of the innovation and connection happening within the area.

Meeting Hope was a beautiful reminder that aging does not mean slowing down, it often means sharing wisdom and experiences that continue to uplift others for years to come.

At CFS Solutions DBS, we believe education and connection are essential parts of healthy aging. Moments like these reinforce our mission to help families and communities navigate healthcare, aging, and care transitions with confidence and clarity.

We encourage you to explore Hope Witkowsky’s archived Senior Scene videos and learn from the valuable insights she shared with the community.

Sometimes the most meaningful lessons come from unexpected encounters, and this was certainly one of them.

With appreciation for our senior community,
